From £169
Give your bathroom plumbing a professional check with an experienced member of the J2 team. We will inspect accessible fittings, identify visible problems and explain any maintenance or repair work that may be recommended.
PREVENT SMALL PROBLEMS GROWING
Small plumbing problems are not always immediately obvious. A slow leak, loose fitting, unreliable toilet or poorly sealed area can gradually cause inconvenience and damage if left unresolved.
Our Bathroom Plumbing Health Check provides a professional inspection of the accessible plumbing fixtures and fittings within your bathroom. We will highlight visible concerns, explain their importance and help you understand what should be addressed.
YOUR BATHROOM EXAMINED
We will check the operation of accessible taps, wastes, traps and visible connections for signs of leaks, damage or poor performance.
The toilet will be checked for common problems such as continuous running, weak flushing, slow filling, movement or visible leaks.
We will review the operation of accessible shower fittings, water flow and drainage while looking for visible signs of deterioration or leakage.
Accessible seals and plumbing areas will be visually checked for deterioration, staining, moisture or other signs that may require attention.
USEFUL AT ANY STAGE
A bathroom health check can provide reassurance if your bathroom is getting older, you have noticed a change in performance or you want to understand its condition before arranging further work.
It may be particularly useful if:
You have recently moved into a property
Your bathroom plumbing has not been checked for several years
You have noticed occasional leaks or unusual noises
A toilet, tap or shower is no longer working properly
You are preparing a rental or holiday property
You want to identify maintenance before it becomes urgent
You are considering updating or renovating the bathroom
Know What Needs Attention
Once the inspection has been completed, we will explain what we have found and identify anything that may need monitoring, maintenance, repair or replacement.
Not every issue needs immediate work. We will help you understand which items should be addressed first and which can be planned for later.
If further work is recommended, we can provide a separate quotation. You will remain in control, and no additional work will be completed without your approval.
LOOK, TEST AND ADVISE
01
We will ask whether you have noticed any leaks, changes in performance, unusual noises or other recurring bathroom problems.
02
Our plumber will visually inspect and test the relevant accessible fixtures, fittings, wastes and connections.
03
We will talk you through any visible problems or areas that may benefit from maintenance, repair or replacement.
04
If further work is required, we will explain the available options and provide a separate quotation where appropriate.
